In the end, we get what’s coming to us. Let’s hope it’s sweet.

The Balloon Dad went to jail, Google unveiled its new phone, and Jay Leno is going back to late nights where he can continue a career of not being funny. As news nuggets go, pretty small potatoes. Time to head to a place where size matters, especially on the subject of desserts. Time to head to Costco for a Very Berry Sundae.

The Costco food court dons a few desserts but none so sweetly amazing as the Very Berry Sundae. Sure, it’s just a swirl of soft-serve vanilla ice cream and strawberry goo-tasticness, but it’s darn tasty — and at just $1.65, this giant-size treat is a value, whether you’re claiming the 42.5 grams of sugar for yourself or splitting with a family of four (a better idea).

The best news? You don’t need to be a card-carrying member of Costco to enjoy the Very Berry Sundae or any other items on the food menu. Your job is to simply sit back, enjoy, and wonder what the guy pushing a cart with a three-gallon tub of mayonnaise and 1,750-count box of cotton swabs is doing tonight.
