While folks around Phoenix continue to get their kicks frying eggs on the sidewalk, a “culinary research team” has found a way to grill up a steak and some corn using molten lava and they’ve posted a video to prove it.

Bompas & Parr joined forces with a team from Syracuse University to cook the steak over a lava flow, which, according to Eater, was 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit. The company is also known for cooking with lightning, which flash cooks at a staggering 50,000 degrees Farenheit.
