Oh-em-gee, I can’t imagine how this thing would make one’s living room smell.
But for the bacon-obsessed among us, here’s a way to commemorate your favorite food, your favorite actor, and (not even) six degrees of separation from all the other bacon/Bacon geeks on eBay.
It’s a life-sized Bacon Kevin Bacon bust, apparently not an edible artwork but made entirely of bacon and bacon bits by Allentown, PA artist Mike Lahue.
How much will this thing end up going for? As I type this, the bidding is up to $348.
That’s too steep for this broke-ass journalist, although I’m tempted to get out the AmEx just so that I can get the monogrammed carrying case that comes with it (why not go out on the town with this thing? Bring it to dinner?) as well as bragging rights that I’d be a “champion of the underground meat sculpture movement.”
