Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?
Woktoberfest, Yes That’s Right, WoktoberfestBored with the typical Oktoberfest fare? Then switch it up this month at Scottsdale’s Ling & Louie’s Woktoberfest. The Asian bar & grill took traditional eats and put their own spin on things. The  “Woktoberfest” menu features unique items such as”Wokin’ Hot Brats,” tempura fish & chips, beer links flatbread, and braised duck sliders. Each dish incorporates the Okto Festival Ale from Portland’s Widmer Brewery because beer makes everything taste better. While you’re there you can register to win a trip to Portland to visit the brewery, one of two custom home brewing kits, a private dinner for two, or your very own wok.  Click here for more details.

Homemade BreadOur apologies if we have shown you this recipe before but it’s just so good — and easy. With this recipe there is really no excuse not to try your hand at homemade bread. No kneading, and you can store the dough in your fridge. If you have never attempted such a task, then you really don’t know exactly how good your house will smell. Take this recipe, bookmark it, stick it on your fridge, whatever, just make it.
