Renowned painter and sculptor Ludvic (obviously important since he only has one name) is the featured artist at this month’s Artist in Residence dinner at Paradise Valley’s Lon’s at The Hermosa Inn. The dinner is scheduled for Friday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. Guests can peruse a few of his sculptures, which will be on display in the garden, and dine on a savory four-course meal for just $99 per person. Space is limited, call 602-955-7878 for reservations or visit www.hermosainn.com.
Bombero’s Café will be celebrating Earth Day tomorrow, April 22nd by handing out free glasses of wine to anyone who walks, bikes, rides the bus, or drives a hybrid to get there. Owners Oscar and Kristi Mastrantuono will also be using only candle light to illuminate the café and patio. Click here for details.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
