Yes, it really is a reflection of the tough times. I just got word that after six and a half years in business, Malee’s Thai Bistro offically closed its Desert Ridge location. Last Wednesday was its last day.
According to owner Deirdre Pain, the Desert Ridge Malee’s was “a victim of the current economic crisis, which caused sales there to drop too much for us to remain open.” But Malee’s on Main, in Old Town Scottsdale, is still thriving and open for business, in case you get a craving for some Evil Jungle Princess (chicken and shrooms in coconut cream sauce with fresh mint!).
