$15,000

Yesterday we met Matt Slenske, bar manager at American Junkie. Today he shares with us the recipe for the bar’s signature drink, aptly named the American Junkie. Packed with ingredients, it’s like a Long Island Iced Tea gone to the loony bin.

The ingredients:
Vodka
Rum
Tequila
Gin
Amaretto
Triple Sec
Orange juice
Pineapple juice
Cranberry juice
Pineapple slice

How to make it:
Pour equal parts of each ingredient into an ice-filled shaker, shake it up, strain into a tall Collins glass filled with ice, and garnish with the pineapple slice. Couldn’t be simpler or more inebriating.
