As famous for its exceptional home made breakfast dishes as well as its long lines, Matt’s Big Breakfast, the tiny eatery in Central Phoenix from chef-owner Matt Poole, is moving to new and bigger digs after eight years.
The Republic reports Matt’s will be moving a few spaces north, into the former Verde location, and that the renovated restaurant (due to be completed by the end of August) will seat around 50 people, have its own restrooms, and keep the same phone number, menu, and hours.
So what happens to the old space?
The Republic goes on to say that Poole plans to keep the old location and once the new Matt’s is up and running, will convert the original location to a takeout-only business featuring a limited menu.
