National Pretzel Day at Culinary Dropout

National Pretzel Day is this Tuesday, and Culinary Dropout is celebrating by donating 100 percent of the proceeds from its house-made soft pretzels and provolone fondue to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. The fundraiser will be held at all three metro Phoenix locations, and is in honor of Brooklyn Flores, the 5-year-old daughter of one of Culinary Dropout’s chefs. The Angelman Syndrome Foundation funds research for Angelman Syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes developmental disabilities and nerve-related symptoms. Henna Happy Hour at Inde Fusion

In news that our body art-loving friends will appreciate, this Thursday Inde Fusion is hosting a henna happy hour. For $15, you can get your choice of either a signature fusion cocktail or a six-ounce glass of wine, one appetizer, and a henna design from local henna artist Purvi at the Scottsdale restaurant.
