Since 2012, NCounter has been a popular destination for breakfast and lunch on Mill Avenue in Tempe. The fast-casual restaurant, founded by Thom and Kathy Coker (also the folks behind TC Eggington’s in Mesa), is known for its energetic atmosphere and menu of classic fare including waffles, omelettes, sandwiches, and more.
On Thursday, the Cokers announced they’ve sold the restaurant to new owners. NCounter is now under the leadership of Kevin and Kathryn Blackwell, a duo of former Kahala Corp. executives, who plan to expand the restaurant concept both locally, regionally, and even internationally.
A spokesperson for NCounter says customers can expect business as usual at the Tempe restaurant. The Cokers will remain involved in day-to-day operations and there are no plans to change the restaurant’s menu or prices.
Diners, however, can look forward to additional locations around the Valley within the next year.
