It’s a little piece of Pischke’s in Phoenix.

Local Breeze, a new spot that quietly opened over the weekend in the former Palatte location (606 N. 4th Ave.; the official opening date is tomorrow), is run by an alumni of the popular but defunct Old Town Scottsdale institution.

Owner Sid Campbell was a longtime cook at Pischke’s Paradise, so there are plenty of old Pischke’s faves among the menu options. And overall, comfort food is the catchphrase here — lavosh pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, pasta, seafood dishes, and more. They also have a liquor license, which means the sprawling outdoor patio will be a great place to relax with a cold beer on one of these gorgeous evenings.
