Downtown Tempe is getting in on the local farmers market scene with its own weekly event starting this week — just in time for ASU students to stock their tiny dorm room fridges with goodies from the farm.
The Market on Mill debuts Thursday, September 3, presented by the Downtown Tempe Community and the Phoenix Permaculture Guild. Scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. weekly, it’ll feature fresh produce from local growers as well as arts and crafts. And since it will happen concurrently with the Music on Mill event, there will be live music, too. Look for the free event outside the MADCAP Theaters (formerly the Harkins Centerpoint).
