The ladies of Liberty Market cleaned up nice for 2016’s Sips & Sweets.

This is only its second year, but Phoenix New Times’ Sips & Sweets is shaping up to be one of the summer’s hottest food events — pun intended.
We’ve got spots left for just a few more dessert chefs and mixologists at the 2017 Sips & Sweets, to be held Saturday, June 17, at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix.
We’ll warn you up front that this is not your typical bake sale. To participate, you do need a catering license or temporary food service establishment permit, staff and the necessary equipment to serve your samples, and a certificate of insurance. But if you are able to provide 1,250 samples of your signature dessert or cocktail (cocktails must incorporate one of the spirit sponsors) — we’ll give you a lot of exposure in exchange.
We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?
We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Phoenix. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Phoenix.
