‘Tis the season for a soft opening.
On Tuesday, popular Tempe restaurant Caffe Boa is ready to open a second location, Boa Bistro, at Mesa’s Village at Las Sendas Center (2837 N. Power Rd.), pending final building inspections with the city.
According to owner Jay Wisniewski, the offerings will be similar to those of the Tempe restaurant, but it won’t be a carbon copy menu. In addition to the handmade pastas and interesting wines that Boa is known for, there will also be a salumi station and dishes created in a wood-burning over.
Look for a grand opening celebration in January.
