Local old-school chopper manufacturer Sucker Punch Sally’s is branching out into restaurants with Sucker Punch Sally’s Old-School Diner, set to open for dinner on New Year’s Eve at the corner of Mill Avenue and University in Tempe.
The former Ruby Tuesday’s will now be decorated with vintage motorcycles and Fender guitars as part of a its badass retro theme, serving regional comfort food and fresh doughnuts and pies from its in-house bakery.
General manager Pete Lavallee tells me that they’ll be serving breakfast 24 hours a day, and will eventually open a takeout window on Mill. There will be live music on the Fender/Gretch stage on weekends, and they’ll do catering as well.
