After keeping Phoenix guessing about his strategy to take over the universe (or at least the Valley), local food marketing/PR whiz, blogger (a.k.a. JuxtaPalate) and man-about-town Ty Largo announced his new agency today, and former Arizona Republic food critic Nikki Buchanan has officially come out as a member of his new team.
As you’ll recall, Buchanan just resigned from the Republic, and Chow Bella has been tracking her career trajectory for years.
Previously called Rivers & Leaves Media, Largo’s new company is simply called Up. Buchanan will be the new “Chief of Hospitality and Tourism,” and former Rose & Allyn partner Stacy Pearson will be the head of PR.
Besides repping food clients, they’ll be expanding into other industries, launching a wine & spirits publication, and instigating a new culinary event.
