Nobuo at Teeter House is finally launching its dinner service, starting tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m. Chef Nobuo Fukuda’s highly anticipated downtown izakaya had its lunch-only soft opening last month.

While Fukuda’s previous restaurant was a temple to cutting-edge (read: pricey) sashimi and Japanese-meets-Western dishes, this one fits with the budget-friendly zeitgeist. Nothing’s over $12. (Important note: The haute tasting menus that made Fukuda such a big deal will still be offered, by reservation only, at the restaurant’s counter.)

Take a look at this menu. I’m eyeing the nasu bacon miso (nasu means eggplant), the Kumamoto oysters with uni, sweet tomato water, wasabi oil, and caviar, the warm duck salad with yuzu vinaigrette, the raw fish dishes . . . Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll be trying everything on the menu.
