Here it is, folks: the lunch menu for chef Nobuo Fukuda’s new restaurant opening tomorrow, Nobuo at Teeter House. If you attended the final nights of Sea Saw or any of the chef’s special dinners last summer at Welcome Diner, dishes like steam pork belly buns, okonomiyaki, and soft-shell crab sandwiches should be familiar.
Along with his wine list (Fukuda’s renowned for pairing wines with Japanese-inspired cuisine), there will be an extensive selection of premium Japanese and Chinese teas.
As I mentioned in my news post, this is a very soft opening with limited items available. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner will be introduced in a few weeks, after Fukuda’s staff gets warmed up.
