In the mood for Cajun food? You’re in luck.
With Mardi Gras right around the corner, the timing is spot on for the opening of Beauregard Food Co., which debuted last Friday at DC Ranch in North Scottsdale.
Owner Dan Brinton also is a franchise owner of Krispy Kreme Arizona, whose newest location happens to be right next door to Beauregard Food Co.
Signature dishes ($7 to $14), which rotate daily, include shrimp and crawfish cheesecake (pictured above), etouffee, gumbo, red beans and rice, and shrimp and grits. There are also salads, wrap sandwiches, pita pizzas (including one topped with crawfish) and snacks like fried pickles and onion rings.
