Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Sweet! There’s a new kid on the 7th street block. Her name is Rice Paper and she wants to serve you spring rolls — sushi style.
The highly anticipated spring roll bar/Vietnamese restaurant, Rice Paper, opened its doors this past weekend. Located in the budding restaurant strip of 7th street between Palm Lane and Virgina, the modern eatery sits in a renovated bungalow complete with a street side patio outside and a nice big community table inside.
Choose from more than 20 different crispy and fresh springs rolls, served sushi style, or order a steaming bowl of pho. A little birdie from the Coronado neighborhood told us their sandwiches “are bomb. AND they have garlic fries!”
We’ll have to see for ourselves.
Welcome to the neighborhood Rice Paper!
