Yep, Another Oktoberfest
You had a break last weekend now it’s time to jump right back in with another Oktoberfest(last one of the year, promise). Friday and Saturday, the Phoenix Sister Cities will be hosting the first-ever CityScape Old World Oktoberfest. This one seems to differ from the rest with only German brews and authentic eats. What goes best with beer? Live music and dancing of course, and there will be plenty of both for your entertainment. The outdoor festival runs from 4 – 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person or click here to get your hands on a free one.

Crave may have been moved to January 2011 but the pre-party is this weekend. Get a taste of what’s to come at the Crave Pre-Party, this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Calvin Charles Gallery in Scottsdale. Enjoy eats from 5th & Wine and sample brews from SanTan Brewery while mingling and listening to a little live jazz. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Click here to purchase tickets.

We’re kinda on the fence about this one, but still very intrigued by it. Jalapeno Kiwi Kissin’ Jam from blog Showfood Chef combines the sweet of kiwi with the bite of a jalapeno. It sounds really good, but what do you put it on? Toast? Steak? Tortilla chips? Make a batch a let us know, or better yet, bring us some!
