Please Hold the Mayo
Joy L. Cassidy apparent has a bone to pick with the library. Monday, Boise Idaho police arrested 74-year-old Cassidy after she was caught dumping a jar mayonnaise into the Ada County library’s drive-up book drop box. Cassidy is also suspected of at least 10 other condiment-related crimes dating back to May 2009.
Cassidy has since been released from jail but faces a misdemeanor charge of malicious injury to property. Wonder if they’ll beat her with the Miracle Whip as punishment?

If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
