The tiny little former Taco Bell next to The Vig made a great first home for chef Aaron May’s retro breakfast joint, Over Easy, but now the restaurant is ready for more hungry diners in its expanded, newer spot.
Located at 4730 E. Indian School, #123, the new Over Easy has expanded hours — from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., every day except Christmas — and has also unveiled some lunch options. For now, while it’s getting up and running, there will be different sandwiches, salads, and burgers offered every week. (Here’s a sample OE%20Lunch%20Menu.doc)
Yep, that means you can swing by for a ham salad sandwich, Reuben, Caesar salad, chicken noodle soup, or plenty of other all-American eats, when you’re not feeling like pancakes or chicken fried steak. There are also seven different burgers on the menu, including a “build-your-own burger” with unusual toppings like fried egg, tomato jam, peanut butter, asparagus, and garlic.
