Fans of Padre’s, the restaurant featuring modern Mexican cuisine on Camelback Road west of 12th Street, have until close tomorrow, Saturday, June 2, to say goodbye.
In business for eight years, the Republic reports that father-and-son team Denny and Cole Durbin have sold the space to Drew Melton, owner of downtown’s Los Dos Molinos, at 10th and Washington streets.
The Republic goes on to say that Melton, the grandson of Los Dos Molinos founder Victoria Chavez, plans to close the downtown location in mid-July and reopen the restaurant in the Padre’s location in early August to move farther away from the Los Dos in South Phoenix.
