The off-the-record buzz about chef Peter DeRuvo taking over the chef de cuisine position at Prado is now confirmed news. He officially starts the job on Monday.
DeRuvo seems like a great fit for the upscale Italian restaurant at the InterContinental Montelucia resort, given his background as executive chef at AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Sassi up until last fall.
He briefly took the chef position at Vatra Grillhouse for its revamp a month ago, before getting this much higher profile job, which was recently vacated by chef Claudio Urciuoli (who now works for Chris Bianco).
