Help keep St. Mary’s Food Bank well stocked for the holidays, and Petite Maison will feed you as much as you can handle.

That’s right — chef James Porter and his team at the cozy bistro will dedicate one night a week to collecting canned food for charity during the course of their late-night “Staff Meal.” In return, they’ll offer up bottomless bowls of hearty French fare to generous customers.

Here’s the catch: You have to follow the restaurant on Twitter to see which night they’ll be running the deal.

This weekend, they’re launching the food drive on Saturday night, from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.

$30,000

Porter will be making paella in his four-foot pan, and will dish up endless bowls of it to customers who show up with five nonperishable food items. Bring in an extra five, and you’ll get a sangria red cup.

The goal is to collect 1,000 items to donate by December 31, so there’s plenty of time to stop by for a late-night nosh. And even if you’re too slammed to indulge in Porter’s fine cooking, you’re welcome to swing by any day of the week, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., to donate food just because

Doesn’t that sound nice?
