One of metro Phoenix’s best barbecue joints is getting its chance to shine in front of a national audience next month.
On Tuesday, May 23, Pork on a Fork BBQ will be featured in an episode of Cooking Channel’s Big Bad BBQ Brawl. The episode, which is titled “Smokin’ Sausage Showdown,” is set to air at 7 p.m. Arizona time, and will see Pork on a Fork put its Phoenix-born flavors against show host Shannon Ambrosio’s Brooklyn-inspired techniques in a flavorful, smoked sausage competition.
The restaurant is hosting a watch party at its Camelback location on the day the episode airs. According to the Pork on a Fork website, the watch party will be an all-day affair, featuring free barbecue, as well as some other activities like a smoked-wing-eating contest.
