Later this year, two new noodle restaurants will open in a shared space in downtown Phoenix. The split restaurant concepts will be a sort of East-meets-West noodle affair, with one spot serving Japanese ramen and the other offering Italian eats.

The restaurants, which both come from entrepreneur and chef Marco Di Santo, will be located at 114 West Adams Street, inside the Orpheum Lofts on the northwest corner of First Avenue and Adams Street. Both are aiming for an opening in early October.

The first restaurant will be called Otakumen and will be a Japanese ramen shop serving “modern ramen” with ingredients made in-house daily. The second restaurant will be called Pat and Waldo’s and will serve “variations of Italian classics.”

Both restaurants will have inside seating and to-go counters.
