Today marks the one year anniversary of North Scottsdale’s Renegade Canteen. The upscale eatery is celebrating by throwing a birthday bash complete with cake at their fabulous southwestern styled bar. Score Bud Light drafts, Shiner Bocks, and select red & white wines for just $1. If you get hungry, bacon cheddar sliders and the awarding winning chef Robert McGrath’s Green Chili Mac will also be just a buck. It never seems weird when we look at blogs focused on making food from foreign country like France or Spain but when you come across a South African chick with a passion for American food it seems, well, kind of odd.
