Ever wonder what happened to Roseanne Barr, the comedian, sitcom star, writer, Emmy Award-winning actress, all-around agitator, and feminist pioneer? I’ve been wondering that for a long time. And by a long time, I mean right now.

After a self-imposed sabbatical from series television, the self-proclaimed “Domestic Goddess” is returning next Wednesday, July 13, with a Lifetime docu-series called, Roseanne’s Nuts, a reality show about her decision to manage a 40-acre macadamia nut and livestock farm in Hawaii.

Along with her writer-musician boyfriend, Johnny Argent, and son Jake, Barr maintains her raw sense of humor, quick wit, and says the word “nuts” a lot which might mean a hard-shelled fruit or part of a man’s wedding tackle. Either way, I’m okay with that.
