$15,000

Yesterday we met Ryan Nishijima, who pours beer and wine at Cave & Ive’s in Arcadia. Today he shares with us the recipe for the G-Spot.

Because Cave & Ive’s doesn’t have a license to sell hard liquor, the owners had to get creative with their cocktail menu. The result is a series of beer cocktails, inspired by the owner’s travels to Germany, where he first enjoyed a hefeweizen blended with banana puree. The G-Spot — a mix of peach puree and golden ale — is a sweet, refreshing and well-balanced beertail that’s perfect for summer drinking.

The ingredients:
2 oz. Daily’s Peach Puree
14 oz. SanTan Sunspot Golden Ale

How to make it:
Squeeze the puree into the bottom of a shaker pint and top with the beer. Stir gently with a straw or spoon to mix it all up. Enjoy.
