Yesterday we met Ryan Soranson, bartender at El Chorro Lodge. Today he shares with us the recipe for the El Chorro Sunrise, the lodge’s premier cocktail. Soranson says it’s the most popular drink on the menu, and it’s especially perfect for this time of year: the sweet, subtle caress of fresh grapes, lime and cranberry accents the views and cool springtime air of El Chorro’s patio.
The ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Ciroc Snap Frost vodka
1 ½ oz. white cranberry juice
Korbel champagne
5 grapes
3 limes
Simple syrup

How to make it:
In the bottom of a bucket glass, muddle grapes, limes and simple syrup. Pack with ice and add vodka and cranberry juice. Shake well. Pour everything back into the bucket glass and float with champagne. Enjoy.
