Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Customers must’ve been hungry for more.
Popular North Phoenix breakfast joint Scramble has made some tweaks to its a.m. offerings with goodies like a lox platter, steak & eggs, and a “Ginormous” combo plate that includes a ton of food — three eggs, three ham steaks, three dollar cakes, and rosemary potatoes. (How much coffee does it take to ward off that food coma?) There’s also more for lunch, including new pizzas, a veggie burger, salads, and more.
Another fun bit of news: Starting in April, the restaurant will reopen for a charity Breakfast for Dinner on Wednesday nights, from 5 to 8 p.m. Part of the proceeds will go to local charities and community groups, and inquiries from interested organizations are welcomed.
