It’s official. Shake Shack is taking over the Valley. The New York-based burger chain already announced plans to open two restaurants (one in Scottsdale and one in Phoenix) last year, and today, we’ve learned the company plans to open a third restaurant at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale.
Located off Scottsdale Road, specifically at 15205 North Kierland Boulevard, Kierland Commons already is home to a handful of popular restaurants, including NoRTH Italia; RA Sushi Bar Restaurant; The Greene House; Postino; Snooze, an A.M. Eatery; and Zinc Bistro. The development also includes high-end retail stores and hosts events.
The first metro Phoenix Shake Shack restaurant is expected to open soon at Scottsdale Fashion Square, followed shortly after by the second restaurant at Uptown Plaza in Central Phoenix. Billed as a “modern day ‘roadside’ burger stand,” the restaurant chain serves burgers made with 100 percent all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef, as well as hot dogs, fries, and more.
