Since 1986, Someburros has been serving tacos, cheese crisps, and chimichangas, and later this year the family-owned local restaurant chain will celebrate the opening of its eighth location. By late fall, Someburros plans to open a new restaurant in Queen Creek, specifically at 20707 East Maya Road, near the intersection of the Ellsworth Loop and Rittenhouse Road.
The restaurant was founded by George and Mary Vasquez, and currently has restaurants in Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, Flagstaff, and at Sun Devil Stadium.
In addition to bringing the restaurant’s popular selection of affordable Mexican eats to the southeast Valley suburb, Someburros expects to bring 50 new jobs to the area with the new restaurant. The location with offer seating for some 126 diners, as well as a call-ahead drive-thru window and catering options.
