Fans of Starbucks’ secret menu can celebrate. On April 10, the company announced its famed Pink Drink would become a permanent menu item.
The pretty pink beverage took over Instagram last summer and quickly lead to other creations – like the Purple Drink, Blue
The Pink Drink is similar to Starbucks’ Strawberry Acai Refresher. Instead of water, it’s made with coconut milk and topped with a scoop of strawberries.
“We’re thrilled that the beloved Pink Drink is joining the Starbucks menu, just in time for the warmer spring months,” says Vivienne Long, Starbucks vice president of U.S. Retail Beverages, in a press release.
If you were looking to snag the drink before this week, you would have to know the ingredients or find a barista who was familiar with it. Now, anyone can order the Pink Drink by name – or color.
What’ll they think of next?
