Looks: You can see for yourself, it looks pretty good for something that came out of the microwave. After last weeks disaster, we are pretty happy to see all that cheese sauce. There also seems to be an abundance of veggie including potatoes which isn’t something we’re used to.

Taste: Not bad, not bad. It’s a very “adult” version of mac & cheese. Lots of veggie. Potatoes, carrots, broccoli and, of course, red pepper (why is red pepper in everything?) all of which tasted surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The tofu seemed unnecessary, but I guess those health nuts out there need to get their protein when they can. The pasta is tender and chewy, but in a good way. The pasta held up well in the dense cheese sauce that actually tasted like real cheese. The sauce had the tang of fancy cheddar cheese with just a hint of garlic. The only issue with the sauce, was that it was so thick once it cooled, it turned into a bit of a coagulated mess. It also left a weird funk on your teeth. All in all it was a nice change from the norm.

Score:  on a scale of 1- 10; I would give this an 8. It loses points for the tofu and funky mouth film.
