Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
From now until Labor Day, Taggia at the FireSky Resort & Spa is offering an Italian-infused happy hour experience every day with their new Aperativo Hour. $5 appetizers and drink specials, with a focus on herbal amaros, will help you have a little mini-getaway on sunny summer afternoons without breaking the bank.

With seven different sharable appetizers to choose from, along with red and white wine, Prosecco, draft beer, well cocktails, an amaro, and an amaro spritzer, all for $5, there’s plenty to enjoy on the cheap this summer at Taggia.
For food, ahi tuna crudo with black olive gremolata, cherry tomato and basil bruschetta, formaggi and salumi plates, and baccala (salt cod fritters) bring Italian flavor to happy hour. If you keep your culinary tastes closer to home, there’s also beef sliders and pretzel bites with fontina fondue.
If you’re looking for a refreshing after-app digestif, $5 Fernet Branca, Averna, Nonino, Montenegro, Margerum, and Ramazzotti are available as a spritzer or on its own. Four Peaks fans can also get pints of Hop Knot, Kiltlifter, and 8th Street Ale for $5.
The Aperativo Hour at Taggia runs daily from 5 until 7 p.m.
