Heads up, chichi Scottsdalians with a penchant for prime, dry-aged porterhouse steaks: New York’s Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse is planning a move to your fair city this fall.
Taking over a vacant Outback Steakhouse at 4180 Drinkwater, Ben & Jack’s promises to continue its tradition of exceptional prime, dry-aged steaks and chops, fresh seafood, and a diverse wine list in an upscale setting. The original Ben & Jack’s was opened in 2005 in Midtown Manhattan in 2005 by Ben and Jack Sinanaj , two longtime waiters at Peter Luger’s Steakhouse. (A second location opened four years later on Fifth Avenue.)
Serving lunch and dinner, Ben & Jack’s menu will feature USDA steaks and chops such as porterhouse, filet mignon, prime New York sirloin, rib eye, prime rib, and veal and lamb chops. Seafood, such as Chilean sea bass, Maryland crab cakes, and a gigantic four-pound jumbo lobster also are on the menu.
