Yesterday we met Tammy Hartman, rancher, swimming instructor and longtime bartender at TEXAZ Grill. Today she shares with us the recipe for the Santa Ana Shake, a boozy dessert drink made with ice cream, Kahlua and tequila — ingredients you wouldn’t expect to play together as nicely as they do.

The ingredients:
2 scoops Blue Bell vanilla ice cream
¾ oz. Republic tequila
¾ oz. Kahlua
Whipped cream
Chocolate syrup

How to make it:
Mix the ice cream, Kahlua and tequila in a blender. Blend well and pour into a tall, chilled glass. Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
