It’s been about only two months since Fuego del Mar (formerly Fuego Taco) closed its doors at Camelback Esplanade after a three-and-a-half-year run. But already a new restaurant has moved into the space and plans to open for business within the next week.
The newest spot to come to the Biltmore area shopping center is called TEN Handcrafted American Fare & Spirits and comes courtesy of a former Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill corportate chef, Jeff Hostenske.

Ten will serve a menu that includes Midwestern fare and Southern cuisine complemented by a selection of craft beers, small batch spirits, and wines.

On the lunch menu, look for dishes such as a pressed cuban ($10.50), BBQ pulled pork sandwich ($10), and Cincinnati chili ($10). Dinners entrées will include pot roast with mashed potato and carrots ($17), Chicken a la King and Queen with wilted spinach ($15), and roasted pork shoulder with sweet BBQ glaze and collard greens ($16).
The selection of cocktails varies from classics such as a Manhattans and margaritas to more interesting options like the pecan pie martinis made with Tito’s vodka, pecan liqueur, and vanilla simple syrup.
