Brewers across the country are embracing the can for the good of all beer, so it’s about time for a festival, huh? SanTan Brewing and Whole Foods thought so, so they’re putting on the first-ever AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival, in two parts:

On Saturday, May 15, authorized tasters from the Beer Judge Certification Program will grade beers sent in by participating breweries, awarding medals in categories from IPA to fruit beer.

A week later, AJ Chandler Park in Downtown Chandler will house the larger festival celebrating the craft beer movement during American Craft Beer Week. It’ll feature live entertainment, food, a beer science garden, beer olympics, more than 40 local and national breweries pouring their brews, and an award ceremony for the beers judged earlier.

General admission tickets are $35 now and $45 the day of the event. Find out everything you wanted to know about the festival here.
