It’s coming! The world’s cutest food truck! Loaded with kitty-shaped cookies and tiny cakes and bow-shaped water bottles, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck rolls into town next week.
The food truck — which serves “yummy macarons, delicious mini cakes, cookies . . . and other super-cute goodies,” according to a press release — is set to appear at The Quad at Scottsdale Quarter on Saturday, February 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This will be the truck’s first Scottsdale appearance since officially debuting at Hello Kitty Con (yes, that’s a real thing) in October 2014.
Normally, we’d be skeptical of a food truck intended to “[spread] Sanrio’s message of happiness, friendship & fun while offering yummy goodies to Hello Kitty fans of all ages.” But then again, if a Hello Kitty dim sum restaurant can serve glutinous rice as well as any other spot in Hong Kong, who knows what to expect from this roving kitty vehicle.
