Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Northwest Valley diners in search of a new spot for modern American food need look no further than The Rogue Tomato.
The new restaurant opened at 18561 North 59th Avenue in Glendale earlier this year and comes courtesy of chefs Devin Delnicki and Shane Copeland, who spent months renovating the space before opening. Both chefs bring experience at corporate restaurants around Arizona to the project, including L’Auberge de Sedona.
The restaurant’s menu offers a selection of “bistro-style” dishes with Sonoran influences including Arizona ingredients like citrus, pecans, and mesquite. The lunch and dinner menus include dishes such as tacos, panini, flatbreads, and sliders, with appetizer options such as pretzel and chorizo fondue and a Sonoran quesadilla loaded with grilled chicken, charred onions, and roasted poblano.
On the drinks side, The Rogue Tomato offers wine by the bottle and on tap, a selection of local and national craft beers, and cocktails.
The restaurant also offers happy hour everyday from 4 to 6 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to close on Mondays.
You can view the complete lunch, dinner, and drink menus on The Rogue Tomato website.
