You don’t have to be French to celebrate le quatorze juillet in Phoenix — you only need a craving for French food.
Cheuvront Restaurant & Wine Bar is hosting its annual Bastille Day Dinner tomorrow, with three courses that include a choice of coq au vin or boeuf bourgignon for the entree. It’s $35 per person, or $50 with wine pairings. Call 602-307-0022 for reservations.
Christopher’s is also serving a special three-course menu for $40. There are three dishes to choose from for each course, including salmon en croute, braised veal cheeks, or grilled hanger steak. For reservations, call 602-522-2344.
And Metro Brasserie is offering two courses for the symbolic price of $17.89 (1789 being the year that the storming of the Bastille took place during the French Revolution). It’s a salad with your pick of entrees — steak frites, rainbow trout, or scallops — available tonight through Sunday. For details, call 480-994-3663.
