Mark your calendars, taco enthusiasts, because the Rockin’ Taco Street Fest is officially set for noon on Saturday, September 17, at its new location in downtown Chandler. The event is produced by HDE Agency in partnership with El Palacio of Chandler, and will feature an array of tacos from a dozen local restaurants, margaritas, Mexican beer, and a tequila tasting.
In addition to food and drink, the event will also include plenty of entertainment such as music, lucha libre wrestling, taco eating competitions, Chihuahua races, and a salsa competition. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership, a nonprofit corporation that aims to advance the development of downtown Chandler and its shopping, dining, living, and culture.
Tickets for the Rockin’ Taco Street Fest are available online for $8 and will be $10 the day of the event. Children 12 years old and under will get free admission. VIP tickets can also be purchased for guests 21 and over. VIP entry includes six alcoholic beverages, catered food from El Palacio Restaurant & Cantina of Chandler, front stage access, and more.
