If you’ve always wanted to get in the kitchen with James Beard Award-nominated chef Gio Osso — you know, like we did to see how he makes his signature grilled octopus dish — then you’re in luck, because later this month, Osso will host a pop-up cooking demonstration that will let you see firsthand how he prepares a meal.

The event will focus on how to use chocolate to create sweet and savory dishes and will include an opportunity to sample the food after the cooking’s complete. Guests will begin the night with small bites and drinks, followed by the demonstration, during which attendees will be able to ask questions, take notes, and get up close and personal with the chef. After the cooking demo is done, the group will move to the dining room to enjoy the chef’s chocolate-infused meal.

The pop-up demo, which costs $69.57 per person, is limited to 20 people and will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m Saturday, January 23. The location will be announced a before the event, and tickets can be purchased online

If you can’t make this event, you’re not entirely out of luck. This is the second in an on-going series of pop-up cooking demonstrations hosted by Arizona Foodie. The next event will be held in late February. For more information, visit the Arizona Foodie website
