Last month, I blogged about the imminent opening of Long Wong’s at the Firehouse, the new Tempe spot from some of the same folks who were involved with the old Long Wong’s on Mill. But as with so many new restaurant openings, it wasn’t quite “imminent” enough. After a few last-minute hurdles, the place is finally ready to open tonight at 5 p.m.
Avi Sadote, who partnered with Ron and Andy Goldstein to hopefully recreate some of that Mill-Avenue-of-yore magic — with hot wings, burgers, live music, and a lively scene — says they’ll be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., serving lunch and dinner.
