Robert McGrath, the James Beard Award-winning chef who founded Roaring Fork and now serves his signature Southwestern flavors at Renegade Canteen, hosts local food lovers who get to dish about their favorite restaurants in Check, Please!, a half-hour show that starts tonight on PBS.
Three different Valley residents and restaurants are featured weekly. Each diner recommends his or her favorite place to eat, and the other two guests go and try it. Then they all gather ’round the table to chat with McGrath and each other about their experiences.
Other editions of Check, Please! air in Chicago, the Bay Area, and South Florida.
