It’s easy: Give a toy, get a taco.
Spread holiday cheer and snag a free taco all at the same time as part of the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s second annual Toys for Tacos fundraiser with Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, the restaurant announced recently.
The family-owned chain of restaurants started by two Scottsdale brothers – Ahmad and Naser Alatrash – aims to collect 1,000 new, unwrapped toys for families in need at drop-off sites at eight Mesquite locations throughout the Valley.
“This is our second year collecting toys and we want to surpass the amazing donations collected in 2020,” says co-founder Ahmad Alatrash. “We are thrilled to partner with Phoenix Rescue Mission to support their program and help spread holiday cheer to families throughout the Valley.”
